James Matheremu, or Jimmie Gait as he is more popularly known as, is one of Kenya’s most sought after contemporary gospel musician. Jimmie Gait first hit the airwaves in August 2008 with the hit single Muhadhara and has made a name for himself through his captivating music.

His music cuts across the age and cultural divides in Kenya and has endared him to the hearts of the young and old alike.

Jimmie who graduated from the Mofft Bible College in 2004 with a Higher Diploma in Bible and Theology has touched the lives of millions of Kenyans through his music. This has seen him get nominated and win various music awards.
