The system requirements for music downloads are:
-
Windows 2000 or XP , Macintosh or Linux
-
233 MHz or higher processor (most computers meet this requirement)
-
At least 64 MB of RAM
-
A sound card
-
Speakers or headphones (if you want to play music on your computer)
-
An Internet connection (broadband recommended)
-
Internet Explorer version 6.0 or higher
-
Most media players (we recommend Real Player version 10 or later)
We recommend that you have a high-speed Internet connection, but it is not required to download music. An average-length song will download in about one minute on a high-speed connection. On a dial-up connection, the same song may take up to 20 minutes.
Most music downloads will occupy approximately 6 MB of disk space (this is a small amount). Your disk space requirements depend on the number of songs you want to add to your music library.
